It’s been awhile since I did a non- poetry update on this thing. Well, during the past few months I’ve released two albums, started another band, made a few short movies, did some gigs and got another job working at a grocery store. I’ll post info on the music and the movies later. Just wanted to confirm to the five people who read this thing that I am, in fact, alive….
I stood in the isle
Crying from frustration
A can of beans in my hand
Thanking a nonexistent diety
That none of my co-workers
Could see my tears
Distorria and I just shot this thing last night. It’s weird and kind of 50’s exploitationish. It comes overdubbed with a poem and a dark ambient soundtrack I made.
I’ve been thinking about what experiences and events I valued the most about last year, and here’s the list, in totally random order:
1. Moving to Columbus
2. Visiting Victoria/ playing the NOISE! Fest
3. Actually being able to land a normal job
4. Quitting said job
5. Releasing the recordings out on Roil Noise and Noise-Joy
6. Getting jumped (it made me understand myself a bit more)
7. Almost getting jumped/robbed with Distorria (made me understand more about myself in relation to her)
8. Going to Trauma 2006
9. Meeting Alyssa Sturgil
10. Meeting/ jamming with David Thorne
11. Another year with Distorria, which is an event in and of itself, considering how psychotic we both are.
12. Cutting my longass hair after 4 years and immediately regretting it.
13. Finally finishing and releasing Time is a Bastard!
14. Being able to sell some of my art on Ebay
13. Meeting the nudist guy (confirmed notions in my head)
14. Auditioning for the strip club (made me realize a bit about myself)
There’s a bit more, but those were the main highlights I could think of, sadly. I’m hoping I’ll focre myself to do more this year. So far it’s starting off better.

About a week ago, I quit my job. Since then I’ve been trying to really get off my ass and promote my art. In the past few days I’ve sold two drawings, making a total of $12. This sum is probably pretty measly to most of you, but it’s more than I thought I could make off of my drawings, so I’m pretty happy about it. Also, Time is a Bastard has sold two copies. About 100 copies have been downloaded. It may not be much, but this shit is finally starting to kick off……
In other news, I think I’m going to add an art section to the site, and I’ll post some shit about my Ebay auctions when I’m less lazy.
I just made this the other day, using some older footage I had. Let me know what you think, if you think anything.
I just noticed that an interview I did with the fetish model Jax was mentioned on blueblood.net. Check it out.
Also, I’ve been experimenting with tags and trying to find new people to link to and generally fucking with the site. So if I fuck anything up be patient, I will fix it. I’ll add a new poem and maybe some other shit later tonight.
Welcome to the new and improved skullvomit.com! As you can see I totally re-created the site, and I’m planning on making updates much more frequent this time around, but we both know that that’s probably going to fall through, me being the indolent slacker I am.
