I saw a man at work
Who was covered
In giant boils
They were all over
His face, even the
Back of his head and neck
He looked like something
Out of a medical textbook
I felt empathy for him
And it really made
Me remember that no matter

Climbing steps

Constantly looking

Playing on the radio
While I’m at work
Every song is about love
Either about being in love
Or losing their love
Yeah, love is cool and all
But why couldn’t these hacks
Ever sing about something else?
Heart beating fast
Mircowave buzzing behind me
I woke up at 1 Am today
And I don’t feel guilty
Not one bit.

On my way to work
I had to go through
some of the worst
neighborhoods
in the city
I used to find it funny
that there were all
of these billboards
talking about
the dangers of
childhood obesity
when in these areas
kids were walking around
dealing dope and
carrying hand guns
I’m sorry, but I have to say
that the thought of a 12 year old
doing a drive-by scares me more
than a kid stuffing his face
at a local McDonald’s
Yeah, these kids won’t
outlive their parents
but not because they
ate too many ho ho’s
but because they
got shot in the fucking face
I don’t know about you
but I’d rather see billboards
about that
gravity is pointless
when you’re chewing on rocks
Physics are frivolous
when you’re head is crushed
and your dreams are dead
Your dick size won’t matter
when you’re rotting underground
so stop bullshitting and start acting
